One thing I have been working on in between naps and snuggles, is getting our screen porch ready for summer. It has been an eye sore with mismatched furniture, garden shovels and dead plants for the last several months. We have made big strides in the furniture department {YAY!} and I'm working on the details now. One thing I wanted this summer was a fresh herb garden. I'm happy to say everything has done well for about a month now and is still looking healthy! I wanted a cute/cheap herb marker and this is what I came up with.
I almost feel silly sharing it, but they ended up pretty cute and I'm a huge washi tape lover.
I simply used two different washi tape patterns to wrap on a popsicle stick. I used the chevron pattern first lengthwise, and trimmed the edges with an exacto knife. Then, wrap the second piece of washi tape around the popsicle stick. Label your stick for coordinating herb, and cover in mod podge to protect from the elements. Voila! Cheap and cute. PS, this would make a really cute addition to a housewarming herb gift!
Pretty drinks from our sweet mint :)
Hope y'all enjoyed and have a great day!
