One Month Birthday

Weeks celebrated his one month birthday on Sunday {lots of celebrations around here people!}

These are his obligatory one month pictures with the onesie to show off his age. I found my onesie stickers here. 

 

You know I had to make a cake to celebrate. This was just a basic white cake mix and a homemade cream cheese cinnamon frosting. Momma got tired though- I did have big plans to decorate with a perfectly outlined one in sprinkles. This was makeshift that I did with a sheet of paper cutout covering the place where the 1 is. 

 

He is getting so big! Compared to where we were, this man is growing. He has gained over two pounds in two weeks.

These are pictures taken in the bassinet that has been passed down through Stephen's family for generations. We got to recover it however we wanted and I went with a cotton pique with a large grey satin bow. It is currently in the living room where we can lay him down while we are in the kitchen and keep an eye on him. PS- I realize I still haven't shared the nursery photos. They are coming!

Some cuddle time with Daddy...

We took Weeks for an afternoon golf outing- Stephen has high hopes Weeks will be accompanying him on many a golf outings in the future. I'm all for it {Momma gets a break!}

I spend a lot of time kissing that sweet head of his.

We also took him for his first visit to one of our favorite stores to drop lots of money, Lowes. That would be a cart full of new bushes to plant behind our porch. He looks mighty happy here too! 

We finally got his musical gym set up and he has started to enjoy looking at all of his dangling toys, I can't wait to see him interact more soon!

What a month it has been- the best one ever.
