How was everyone's weekend? We had the best time celebrating Easter with a little one. Definitely much more special when you have a baby on board to celebrate occasions like these. Here are some pictures from Baby Weeks and his third week of life...it continues to get sweeter each day.
So much love in this picture.
At the end of week two, my parents went home. I cried. Weeks cried. They were so much help and support for the first few weeks as we adjusted to life with a newborn and as I recovered from a c-section. To make things better though, Weeks started smiling for us. Truely, one of life's sweetest moments to see your baby smile.
Last weekend, Stephen's parents watched Weeks so we could enjoy a little mini date, just the two of us. It was nice to have a few moments for just the two of us and take a breather. However, we were not even gone an hour and I missed that sweet boy the whole time.
Mommy got snuggles as soon as we got home!
We also had newborn pictures taken, here is a tiny sneak peak from my iphone.
I cannot wait to see the rest!
Weeks has so many silly faces and sounds. I love it when his eyes dart back and forth across the room, totally taking in the world around him. I could eat him up!
Our handsome boy after a bath...
My sister sent us a book full of black and white pictures, which Weeks is slowly catching on to. Babies see black and white objects first, so this is a great one to start with!
The dogs have adjusted really well to having a baby in the house, we are really lucky. They have great temperaments and are just more curious than anything else. Dixie loves to get as close as she can when we snuggle on the couch. I think their complaint would be lack of sleep these days!
Suited up in his cowboy bib- he is getting a little messy. Such a boy :)
I was a proud Momma when he graduated from newborn into wearing his 0-3 clothes this week. At the hospital, he measured 19 inches but we are getting him already at 21 inches. His feet are in the ends of the 0-3 already, it's just the width we are working on now!
Spring has still not made an appearance yet, so we were bundled up for the only walk we made it on this week. Please tell me we aren't the only ones waiting on Spring in the South!
I'll have our Easter recap soon-
hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Easter weekend!
xoxo.

Can't believe he's 3 weeks old already. How are you feeling Momma?! I love all the pictures, and I'm dying for Spring weather and I'm up North. It got to 54 today, which was kinda a BIG deal!
