Happiness Lately

Here's whats been bringing a smile to my face over the last week...

{My new thrifted ginger jar with lilies from the garden}

{Baby bellies  + Jeans}

{Story time with these two. We are doing our best to develop a nightly routine for Weeks. That is harder than I thought it would be...any tips?}

{A baby becoming more and more active and in tune with his surroundings! We thought this was his Heisman pose.}

{Mommy's morning out for a pedicure on Saturday. Bless.}

{Nightly cuddles.}

Happy Wednesday everyone! xo.

Such happy photos! As for a night-time routine...I found that it was hard to really have one until my kiddos were at least 12 weeks. Then it was nurse, bath, cuddle, nurse (again if needed) then bed. But each baby is different so hang-in there and keep trying!

*SIGH* the lilies remind me of summer. Something that it sure doesn't feel like around here! & yay for pedicures! I think it's so important us Moms remember to take time for ourselves:)

Each of these pictures of you all cuddling is so sweet. Nothing beats a Saturday pedicure alone.

After dragging our feet we are finally going to start trying a night time routine. Our baby is 6 weeks old and I go back to work next week so a little structure is needed!

Pretty jar, no lily blooms here for awhile! I laughed at you taking a pic of the pedicure, whenever I take blog photos like that I wonder if people think I'm a little wacko! And sweet Weeks, can't get enough of those precious pictures! :)

Oh my goodness your little guy is just too cute! I didn't worry about a nightly routine until about 12 weeks either, so good for you for even trying!

Weeks is precious! I would recommend reading Moms on Call, it was a lifesaver for us:)

There is nothing cuter than a baby in denim!!! I also followed the Mom's on Call book for a nightly routine…it's a super quick read and great one to reference as your baby gets older. We've been doing the bath, story, nurse and bed routine since Arden was 5 or 6 weeks old. Works like a charm! Good luck :)

Those lilies are massive! I won't have any for a while, and then the deer will walk by and eat them. Look at the baby...wow, time is going by fast.

I laugh at your pedicure picture...it's amazing how I look forward to those Saturday mornings now! As for a routine we found that it was hard to get into one until G was about 9-10 weeks and was eating/waking on more of a regular schedule. Now it's play/read, bath, baby massage, feed, & bed. I think the bath & massage really relax him and I found that if the bathroom is really warm & I keep him dry except where we are washing he loves bath time. Good luck!
