Retail Therapy: We Got a Hobby Lobby

 Umm...yay!

We got ourselves a Hobby Lobby, just in the nick of time.

We don't even have a legit fabric store here {also missing a Target and Home Goods} so I was pleasantly surprised that there was a pretty decent fabric selection. Of course no exciting designers, but good enough if you want to be crafty or have a small project at home. Yes and yes.

I don't mind having another source for upholstery fabrics. It doesn't hurt right? Cute prints too!

Lately I have been hunting down hardware for the nursery. Too bad I didn't have this option sooner- there were some seriously cute pulls, and at half off!

My favorite: the gingham pulls! How cute!

The best part? I asked at check out if they had any coupons they could offer me and the lady said I could download an app where all current coupons are. Done and done. I didn't have to sign up for emails or do some lengthy login with a password. How easy was that!

Weekend plans: I may or may not be making another trip back to Hobby Lobby. What are your favorite finds at Hobby Lobby?

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your encouraging and supportive comments yesterday. You all made me feel so much more "normal" about this babe and his delivery on the way.

Have a fabulous weekend! xoxo.

No Target or HomeGoods?! Bless your heart! Thank goodness you've at least got HL now. I love those gingham drawer pulls! I had fun reading through some of your blog this morning and about the pregnancy fears and worries- I can totally relate. Worrying is just a part of motherhood and it doesn't go away after their birth. But that's what mothers do and you will learn to get it more in check. That devotional is the best! Congrats on your little one on the way!

Whhhhat?! No Target?! The closest Hobby Lobby to me is about 45 minutes away. But we do have a Micheals so I can't complain a whole bunch!

How do you deal without a Target?? I have a Target and Homegoods in the same shopping center about 6 miles away!
Hobby Lobby is hands down the best craft store- I have found so much good stuff there for so cheap and they always have great sales and coupons.

I thought I was the only one that didn't have anything close!! We have a Target and Hobby Lobby but they are about 20 minutes from me. You should check out the frames and framing section in HL. They are usually half off and the selection is pretty good.

If you go on hobbylobby.com you can also print out the 40% off coupons and look at the weekly ad to see whats half off that week.

I didn't know that Raleigh finally got a Hobby Lobby! I live out in Clayton so I've been driving to Wilson (about 35 min) to go there. Love the online coupon...use it every time! Hobby Lobby's been my not-so-secret source for all my hardware for furniture makeovers. You can't beat the price and selection...I could live in that aisle.
As much as I love Clayton, it takes forever to get anywhere...at least half hour to Target in Garner and HomeGoods is 45 min. away!

We have a Target, but both HomeGoods and HobLob are 3.5 hours away. Michael's is 2 hrs away. We get by on a Joann's and a Ben Franklin. But when i get a chance to go to Hobby Lobby - look out! I have to wear good shoes, 'cause I know I'll be on my feet for at least three hours!

Yay ... prepare to spend a ton of money there! Ha, I sometimes think that I am single-handedly keeping the chain up and running.

The app is awesome.

One note: everything always goes on sale 50% off at one point or another. So, unless you're in a pinch, if the item you want is not 50% off, it most likely will be in the next week.

Wait until Christmas time ... their ornaments are TDF!

Isn't Hobby Lobby great? They have great holiday items and some cute initial tea towels in black/white.

We had one in Scottsdale but sadly Northern Virginia doesn't have one. Have fun shopping!!

haha It's the small things in life that make us excited right? I grew up in a really small town that had no major stores, so I can understand how big of a deal this is. Have fun at Hobby Lobby this weekend! :)

Oh my goodness Katie, where in the heck do you live?!! Does your husband have any idea how much $$ he's been saving? Their knobs are my favorite!
