Tailgate Time

Yes, ladies. It is officially almost that time of year. Some of you may dread football season {I personally love it}. The husband usually starts a countdown sometime in July as to when the first NC State football game is. However, I recall one year when it occurred as early as the Spring Game, sometime in April. So...here we are, with our first football game just 9 days away!

For the first time in many years, our game on Labor Day Weekend will actually be an away game. The Wolfpack will be playing Tennessee in the Chic-fil-A bowl game Friday night! This means we get to spend the weekend at the beach for Labor Day, a rare feat for us football fans.  Since we aren't really tailgating, we will be enjoying AC, having finger foods and tailgate-esque tasty bites. We are planning our menu now...so tell me, what are your favorite tailgate foods/recipes? This time around, we have a handy oven and fridge and microwave to make things very simple.

Go Wolfpack! xo.

I can't wait for tailgate season. My husband and I just moved into a new neighborhood right near the NC State stadium so we might go to some tailgates this year- particularly when they play Wake since we went there for law school. Maybe we will have to meet up if you're there! My husband went to Maryland and is a terps fan, so we are trying to go to Maryland's homecoming in College Park where they are actually playing NC State this year!

I love boiled peanuts and cheap beer. Seriously, nothing says college football like cheap beer!
