lots of little things

Hey friends! I think I am due a little update on what I've been up to lately so follow along if you want!

This Weekend
I went to the doctor on Friday morning and was sent home with three different meds for a sinus infection, let me tell you it was brutal for a few days. Let's just say a cup of hot tea fixed by hubs and a box of tissues was my best friend! It rained like cats and dogs all weekend long so we cooped up inside and finished up Season 2 of Downton Abbey {SO sweet} and watched basketball. Sunday I turned the corner and I am feeling much better today. It was a reminder to be very thankful for my health!

Dining Room
No, I have not forgotten about it! We actually spent a day painting a few Sundays ago and have been working on little touches here and there. I still have lots to do which includes spray painting the bamboo mirror gold and it has been too cold to do it the last few weeks. Here's a peak!

Rugs
I did order the doormats I blogged about from Garnet Hill last week. Here's the one at the back door, I love it! I'll show you the front door next week, I am hoping to work on some planters this weekend to go along with it. I am in so much need of some color and spring in my life!

Photo A Day
I joined in on the fun on instagram with March photo a day, here are some of my pics from the weekend! I love following others and seeing what they post each day. If you want to join in here is the link of the list of photos for each day, and my name is missdixie30 if you want to follow!

Humor Me
I'll leave you with something to make you laugh....my friend pinned this ecard this morning and I literally laughed out loud. I swear, those things get me every time! {I do run but I won't deny it's probably not a pretty sight}

Happy Tuesday!! xoxo

I am obsessed with your doormat! I need a few of those when I get my own place- You can call the Chevron-pattern addict.

I'm glad that you're feeling better! I'm a bit under the weather now... Have a super day! xo

I'm sorry to hear that you were super under the weather, and then that the weather was cruddy. I hope you'll be feeling better to 100% soon. Can't wait to see more updates on the living room!
