Happy Hour Help

Happy Thursday y'all! This week has flown by and I am anxiously awaiting the five o'clock hour tomorrow :) With that being said, who is ready for a cocktail this weekend? We are having a little get together at my parents beach house Sunday night to sort of kick of summer and celebrate the weekend. I am in charge of the cocktail/drink to serve and here is what I have narrowed it down to so far.  Of course we will have beer and wine but we want to serve a yummy drink as an alternative. Give me your votes for what I should serve Sunday night!!

This one looks delicious and pretty, right?

I have been wanting to try the oh-so-popular elderflower cocktail...will anyone be excited about this other than me though? Or does anyone have really simple recipe for one?

While I am not a huge Daiquiri fan, I love the idea of the red, white and blue drinks with strawberries.

I have never had a white wine sangria but I fell in love with the real thing when we were in Spain last year. Is it good?

This one looks simple and I love the name. I'm all about simple.

Alright ladies, give me your votes and let me know what you would like to sip on if you were celebrating summer with us on Sunday night {wish ya were}!
XOXO

I vote the Raspberry Beer Cocktail.
But mainly because I'm a sucker for mason jars. So you can serve anything your little heart desires as long as it comes in a mason. ;)

I had the best cocktail a few weeks ago with elderflower and cucumber- honestly not something I would ever pick but I ended it loving it! It's very light and refreshing and it doesn't taste like cucumber. It was called a Cucumber Moon and here is what was in it:
Moon Mt. Citrus Vodka, cucumber, lime, St. Germain Elderflower, and soda
I'm not sure of the exact quantities of each but maybe you can google and see if someone has made it before.

I'd go with the raspberry beer or the white wine sangria. I've had white wine sangria a few times and it usually has peaches in it, which is delish! That wouldn't really keep with a red/white/blue theme, however.

Ha! My hubs just walked by and said, "wow, those look good!" I'd choose Raspberry beer cocktail or Elderberry. Have fun!

I would go with the Sangria or the Raspberry Beer Cocktail. Those would be nice & refreshing since it is supposed to be hot.

mmmm i feel like sangria is always a good bet, and something people won't stray from because they're semi-familiar with it. the strawberries and blueberries are a really cute holiday touch!

I vote Raspberry Beer cocktail! That one looks perfect for a holiday weekend!

OR last night I came up with my own concoction and it was 3/4 (or so) of Trader Joes light Pink Lemonade and 1/4 of Sweet Tea Bourbon. So so good!
