We Have A Name!

If you follow me on instagram, you might have already caught on. But I am excited to announce our sweet boy has a name!

We are so excited that our baby boy,
"Weeks"
will be making his debut in only about 6 weeks!

 {pausing for a breather, 6 weeks!?}

He will be the third Stephen Weeks...a good old southern boy!  The first SWC is Steve, and of course, junior is my husband, Stephen. We wanted our boy to have his very own name, which left Weeks. We went back and forth on if we should continue the family name, and if Weeks was the right name for our little one. We wanted to be sure. We decided, we love it, and it feels so special and original to honor a family name, and of course his Daddy!

As you can see, Momma wasted no time hitting the monogramming machine. My sweet friend Ashley got us the adorable anchor blanket with his initials and "III" which I am obsessed with. I will be copying that idea from here on out Ash!

Thanks for reading- and thank you for all of your well wishes yesterday!
xoxo.

Love it and I love that you are carrying on a family name! My dad is a 3rd and still uses the III in this signature all the time!

So exciting...love the name!!! A similar monogram idea I've seen for the third is putting a "3" exponent at the end, so it would be SWC cubed, haha!

I love a good Southern family name. Wells is really Anne Caswell and Tagg is really Edward Taggart. So glad we went with good old fashioned family names but chose to call them something more unique. Adorable items you've got already!
