Mason Jar Margaritas

So that's exciting to see on a Monday, right? I'm excited to share this super easy margarita recipe that is not only so light, but also so easy (which doesn't always pair well together!) I have adapted it slightly from this recipe here. I prefer mine in a mason jar, iced down by those re-freezable cubes so your drink doesn't get diluted after 2.2 seconds in the summer sun. We carried these (with the lids on) down to the dock and were ice cold when we got there. Perfect!

MASON JAR MARGARITAS (ONE SERVING)
1.5 oz white tequila
1 oz lime juice
1 oz orange juice
1 teaspoon agave nectar

Shake your contents and add some lime juice and salt to your rim if you like (always good). It won't make a huge drink, so double if you want a little more to sip on. Enjoy!

This really is such a fresh summer drink, I can't imagine using a mix ever again. It's that good!

Hope you all had a very Happy 4th of July! :)

Mixes are the reason I hate margaritas - too much sugar and syrupy sweet. Love this alternative!

This is such a great idea! I bought the Margarita in a pouch from the store this weekend for the beach. These seem so simple and would be a easy replacement for buying tons of pre-made drinks!
