Snow Days Past

I am so jealous of everyone getting snow! Don't get me wrong, I love living in the south and enjoy 364 days of the year with out snow...but one day a year it sounds nice. And then it can warm up the next day and melt it all away. The first two years I lived at the beach we had snow...since then, not much. Stephen and I were glued to the weather channel before bed looking at the snowy forecasts for everywhere but here. I can't think of a better day than to stay warm inside with my boys and Dixie, have some hot chocolate and a fire. Here's a few pics from our snow days past. I think you can assume that our dogs love snow!

When you think of snow, you rarely picture it on the beach. It's really beautiful!

Our first married Christmas was a white one! Cozy by the fire.

Enjoy your snow day and stay warm!

We got 10 inches last night and it's still coming down!! I don't mind the snow, just hate being stuck in.

Love the snow at the beach..so pretty! I was worried our forecast was wrong, because we didn't start getting the snow until almost 5 pm! It came through though and I am so happy to have another snow day!

Love snow at the beach! I love snow days when they're happening but the day after is always awful. We were snowed in yesterday and now the sun is out but it's only 14 degrees here so the roads are still trecherous!

Katie,
You make snow look so fun and cozy! I wish that's how it was up north. But, I do make an effort to always look a bit colorful and put together, even when all you care about is not getting frostbite! A pink scarf and gloves do wonders.

Warmly (by the fire), Kathleen
