A year ago I was travelling with my family and my husband through Europe. Our first stop was London and then we made our way to Spain, where my older sister got married.
Want to see a recap?
We enjoyed quaint little pubs...
We toured the city on foot while extremely jet lagged...
We watched the changing of the guard...
We enjoyed simply stunning flower stands on corners of the streets.
I still wonder why we don't have these!
We basked in the glory of Harrods...and their fresh flower arrangements for any given display.
We dined on the terrace at Harrods...
We strolled through the Queens Gardens on our way back to our hotel...
We enjoyed each other's company...
And the immaculate exterior planters seen outside our hotel and almost every other in London...
We loved London cabs!
We saw Big Ben!
And we saw the London Eye...
And London Bridge, via boat cruise down the river...
We didn't shop enough at Harrods the first day, so we returned.
We definitely brought back Harrods cupcakes to the room. Oreo at that.
We had drinks in our hotel...
And we dined at one of the best restaurants in the world, Simpsons on the Strand.
We flew to Madrid and enjoyed the best sangria ever!
We saw bits of culture unlike anything I have seen before.
As in there was a person sitting inside this goat costume.
We dined al fresco...
We enjoyed that we were wearing coordinating outfits...{Grandma and I}
We enjoyed Mercado de San Miguel
I hope you enjoyed part of our European vacation. It was a trip of a lifetime and I cherish so many memories from that trip. London made my list of places I absolutely have to visit again- it is wonderful. Spain was so charming and I can't wait to show you more on that tomorrow! xo.

What a great travel experience Miss Dixie! Nothing can be more fun than traveling along with the rest of your family. Aside from enjoying the scenic views around, what’s more important is that you got to spend extra-special time with your loved ones. Aww! I so love that giant green bear at Harrods gift shop! And Mercado de San Miguel in Madrid is an awesome market. It was recently renovated and may I say that it’s looking more elegant than before!
