Just Peachy

This weekend we spent a little time deep in the heart of North Carolina, and stopped by not one, but two little produce stands. If you are still buying all of your vegetables and fruit from the grocery store, I have to tell you, you are seriously missing out. I am not a huge peach fan, but these had the sweetest scent that would make anyone want to try one.
If you are in North Carolina, go buy some fresh peaches!

I love bowls of fresh fruit, such an easy way to perk up your table. I am loving these peaches in my vintage hobnail milk glass {one of my favorite collections}. Here you can see part of the view into our yard. I love looking out here every day!

I figured I might as well try and extend my wifely duties a little further and make my first peach cobbler. Not to shabby I have to say! If you are looking for an easy cobbler recipe, this is the one I used. For a cobbler novice like myself, it was simple and quick and smelled amazing.

Hope y'all had a great weekend!! xo.

That cobbler looks delicious! I've been wanting to make a fresh peach pie but I might have to try the cobbler first!

OMG - fresh peaches! There's a little stand off I-90 in Washington State, where the peaches are as big as grapefruits and the juice drips off your elbows as you eat. I'm dying!

I can't wait for our CO peaches, but we have awhile yet! Your hydrangeas are beautiful, that view would make me smile, too! Ours won't be in bloom for awhile yet either!

Could I have some cobbler please? Your photography is amazing! Glad you had fun collecting some peaches at some fun stands :) I definitely love hitting up the peach orchard when I visit Virginia in the summertime.

Peaches are so pretty. I know it's crazy but I've never had an actual peach. I love the flavor though...I need to try them since they're in season. Happy Monday! xo

YUM! I have been waiting for some good peaches to arrive at the grocery but the good ones have not made it this far north yet!

Where in NC are you? For some reason I thought you were in Charlotte. I live in the Raleigh area. We bought peaches this past weekend at the farmer's market and they are amazing!!! I'm hoping the hubby buys me a peach tree for our 4 year anniversary. 4 years is fruit / flowers and what better way to gift that by a tree! xoxo A-

Fresh peaches are the best. I remember stopping at peach stands on our drive to the beach every year. I miss those tasty fresh peaches :).

those peaches look so good, and I love how you used them as display. peaches will not be in season here in michigan until august and they are not even sure if we will have any this year because of the late spring frost. xo

Love that you used the peaches for decor and cobbler, the best of both worlds! Peach cobbler is my favorite and yours looks amazing! xo
